The highlight of your stay is the multi-day dog sledding tour through the remote winter landscapes of Lapland. You will guide your own husky team along carefully prepared trails that are exclusively maintained and used by us. This allows you to experience the Arctic wilderness in complete tranquility, often without encountering another person for days.
During the expedition, you will stay in our cozy wilderness cabins, located on private land and reserved exclusively for our guests. This unique level of exclusivity makes every tour a truly special experience.

Itinerary

Fly to Kiruna, where we will pick you up for the transfer to Huskykompaniet (approximately 1 hour).
Upon arrival, you will settle into your own authentic wilderness cabin located directly on the farm. In the evening, we will welcome you with dinner and introduce you to the itinerary and adventures awaiting you over the coming days.
Each traditional wooden cabin is equipped with a wood-burning stove, two beds, and electricity. The cabins offer simple but cozy accommodation, providing an authentic wilderness experience. Instead of a shower, you can enjoy the evening sauna, either for a traditional sauna session or to wash in the warm sauna room. Outdoor toilets are located behind the cabins.
Your adventure begins the moment you arrive—lighting the stove in your cabin and heating the sauna for warm water are all part of everyday life in the Arctic. At the heart of the farm, you'll find our communal dining cabin, where guests gather to enjoy meals and spend the evenings together.

After breakfast, your first adventure begins.
During your first introduction to the dogs, you will receive a detailed briefing on how to handle sled dogs and learn the essential skills needed for driving a dog sled. The teams will be assigned and prepared together before setting off on your first tour.
Along the trail, we will take a break and prepare a small wilderness lunch outdoors. In the afternoon, we return to the farm, where you can relax and spend time with the dogs.

Today’s full-day adventure takes us across frozen lakes and through the peaceful forests of Lapland. No two days are ever the same. Our destination is a remote wilderness cabin camp, located in a breathtakingly secluded area and offering a simple, authentic experience without electricity or running water.
Upon arrival, we will take care of the dogs together and make sure they are comfortable after the journey. Water is collected from an ice hole in the frozen lake, and everyone is invited to help prepare the cabins and heat the sauna for the evening. We will enjoy dinner together, and those who wish can end the day with a traditional sauna experience.
After spending the night in the wilderness, we return to the husky farm on the afternoon of day four.
Each tour is adapted individually to the current weather conditions, as creating a diverse and unforgettable experience in the Arctic wilderness is especially important to us.

This day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. We can organize additional winter activities for the group, such as snowshoe hiking, ice fishing, or a snowmobile tour.

After a final hearty breakfast, it is time to say goodbye. We will transfer you back to Kiruna Airport for your journey home.

This provider places great importance on the well-being of their sled dogs and takes into account the individual needs of dogs of different ages. Older dogs are included according to their physical abilities and only participate in shorter tours, while they are given the opportunity to retire from longer multi-day wilderness expeditions.
A special highlight is the two fixed rest days per week, which provide the dogs with sufficient time for recovery and regeneration. During warmer days, the dogs also have access to a lake where they can cool off after training sessions or tours.
The training and development of young dogs is also approached with great care. Young dogs spend almost an entire season running in the team of the guide, allowing them to gradually gain experience and learn their future role without pressure. In addition, all dogs receive a chew treat once a week, providing enrichment and supporting dental health.

The wilderness cabin camp (overnight wilderness stay) consists of a wooden cabin with six beds, including a two-bed room and a four-bed room. For combined groups, all guests share the cabin, and sleeping arrangements are organized together on site.

Driving a dog sled requires active participation and a good level of physical fitness. A fear of dogs can make the experience challenging, as close contact and cooperation with the dogs are an essential part of the adventure.
If you enjoy a simple way of life without luxury and appreciate an authentic wilderness experience with basic comforts, this program is perfect for you. Daily tasks such as heating the sauna and your own cabin are part of the routine and make the experience even more immersive.

The shared transfer on the arrival day from Kiruna (airport/city/hotel) takes place between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm. On the departure day, check-out is at 10:00 am, followed by the transfer back to Kiruna (airport/city/hotel).
Exact transfer times must be confirmed for each individual tour date and may vary depending on the flight schedules of already confirmed participants.
A private transfer can be arranged for an additional fee of €150 per journey.

In the event that the above-mentioned trip needs to be cancelled, the following cancellation fees apply:
More than 67 days before arrival – free cancellation
66 to 37 days before arrival – cancellation fee of 10% of the total price
36 to 22 days before arrival – cancellation fee of 30% of the total price
21 to 15 days before arrival – cancellation fee of 50% of the total price
Less than 14 days before arrival or in case of no-show – cancellation fee of 100% of the total trip price
