Discover the true spirit of husky life at a small family-run farm
Escape the crowds and experience the authentic side of Finnish winter at our small family-owned husky farm, where every dog is part of the family and every guest is welcomed like a friend.
This is much more than a husky ride — it's a personal and meaningful experience that combines adventure, nature, animal welfare, and genuine local hospitality.
What to expect
Safety briefing
Your adventure begins with a short safety introduction. We'll show you how to drive the sled, work together with your husky team, and ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident before heading out.
Self-driven husky safari
Then it's time to set off on an unforgettable journey through snowy forests and peaceful winter landscapes. Drive your own husky sled for approximately one hour and experience the incredible energy and enthusiasm of the dogs as they guide you through nature.
Meet the huskies and visit our family farm
After the safari, spend quality time with our dogs. Pet them, cuddle them, take photos, and discover their unique personalities while learning about life on a working husky farm.
Stories by the fireplace
We finish the experience in a cozy setting by the fireplace, where you'll enjoy hot drinks and cookies while listening to stories about our everyday life with the huskies, their training, and what it truly means to run a small family farm in Finland.
This relaxed and personal moment is often the highlight of the day for many of our guests.

Participants should have a moderate level of physical fitness, as driving a dog sled requires balance, the ability to assist the dogs on uphill sections, and getting on and off the sled during the tour.
We have a dedicated blog post on the topic of physical requirements. How fit do you need to be for dog sledding? From sit-down tours to multi-day expeditions with a tent, we cover what level of fitness is required for different types of trips. Read more about it here.

As one of the newest additions to our network, this kennel will welcome guests for its very first season at their family-run farm in Finland next winter. While this will be their first season operating from their own location, the owners bring many years of experience working with sled dogs. We know them personally and are delighted to support their journey, as they share the same commitment to responsible dog welfare and authentic sled dog experiences. Looking ahead, they have ambitious plans focused first and foremost on continuously improving the dogs' living conditions. These include a dedicated puppy area, larger free-running spaces, a new water supply system with a private well to provide fresh water directly to the kennels, a purpose-built kitchen for preparing the dogs' meals, and a dedicated veterinary and recovery room for dogs requiring special care. In addition, they plan to expand the parking area and create comfortable on-site accommodation for guests. Every improvement is part of a long-term vision to provide the highest standards of care for the dogs while creating an even more enjoyable and welcoming experience for visitors. We are excited to support their journey and look forward to seeing this family-run project continue to grow for many years to come.
