Spend two unforgettable hours with the sled dog team at Lapland Adventures. Meet each of our huskies, play with them in the free-run area, help with feeding time, and finish your visit with a freshly prepared meal by the campfire.

This 2-hour kennel visit offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at life with a sled dog team. Get to know the dogs in their home environment, cuddle with them, and learn all about their training, daily routines, and the important role they play in our work.

In the free-run area, you'll experience their playful energy up close as you interact and play with the pack. Afterwards, you'll help feed the dogs—a special moment that highlights the strong bond between humans and these incredible companions.

To round off the experience, gather around a crackling campfire to enjoy a freshly prepared meal followed by a traditional Swedish fika. Relaxed, interactive, and authentic, this experience is perfect for families, dog lovers, and anyone curious to discover the fascinating world of sled dogs.

additional Information

  • If you'd like to combine your hiking adventure with an overnight stay at the husky farm, we highly recommend our charming traditional Swedish farmhouse. This cozy holiday home accommodates up to six guests and is available from SEK 985 (approximately €90) per night.

    Alternatively, you can stay in our lovingly renovated log cabin, available from SEK 660 (approximately €60) per night.

    If you are interested in staying on-site, please mention this when making your booking so we can check availability and help you arrange your accommodation.

This provider places particular emphasis on preventing heat stress in the dogs and regularly offers the sled dogs the opportunity to swim during the summer. Furthermore, the owners hold qualifications as certified sports scientists, animal naturopaths, and physiotherapists. Their commitment to animal welfare and their additional care for dogs who have had a difficult start in life are also particularly noteworthy.
