Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or as a family – we'll tailor your stay to your individual preferences. Instead of pre-packaged standard programs, you can expect a personalized winter experience that can be flexibly combined from a variety of activities. This offer is perfect for those who find a classic day trip too short, but a multi-day expedition too intense.

All activities can be freely combined. Whether you want to spend several days with our huskies, experience the Northern Lights, or try out various winter activities – you decide what your stay should look like.

You can choose from: day trips with our sled dogs, Northern Lights excursions, visits to the reindeer, horseback riding on Icelandic horses, snowmobile tours, snowshoe hikes, or ice fishing. You'll be staying in our cozy and authentic guesthouse – a place to arrive, warm up, and unwind after a day outdoors in the Nordic winter.

Everything is personal, flexible, far removed from mass tourism - therefore not an off-the-shelf stay, but a winter adventure that truly fits.

Itinerary

  • Airport pickup (Skellefteå/Arvidsjaur/Lycksele) or train station (Bastuträsk). Check-in, group dinner and introductions.

  • Breakfast together, choice of activity(ies), dinner together.

  • Our stay was an unforgettable experience, with two wonderful hosts, delicious food, and the best dogs! <3 We were there in January 2026 and can wholeheartedly recommend Paws of Björnlund. The farm and the surrounding countryside are beautiful, the guesthouse is very cozy, the dog sled tours are an unparalleled experience, and best of all: the dogs and their well-being are their top priority. Anyone who simply wants to escape the daily grind and immerse themselves in nature will find exactly that there.

  • I had a fantastic week with Anna, Jeldrik, and their lovely dogs. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, far from the tourist crowds. Anna and Jeldrik are incredibly warm and welcoming people, and I felt right at home. Their love for animals is truly admirable. You really get to know the dogs during that week. Jeldrik's cooking was also delicious. The activities were perfectly organized, and the house was spacious and clean. A week I will never forget. I hope to return someday. Thank you so much, Anna and Jeldrik, for an unforgettable week!

  • The lovingly renovated guesthouse accommodates up to 6 people and is the ideal place for small groups or families seeking both peace and adventure. It features two comfortable bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen – perfect for enjoying meals together after an exciting day in nature.

    Bedroom 1: Double bed (1.60 m) and loft bed (90 cm)

    Bedroom 2: Double bed (1.40 m) and bunk bed (90 cm)

    The bathroom is modern and comfortably furnished, allowing you to perfectly relax after a day in nature.

  • No prerequisites, everything can be adapted to age/fitness level.

  • Transfer, full board, accommodation, warm overalls and winter boots if required

  • Arrival to Skellefteå/Arvidsjaur/Lycksele/Bastuträsk, winter clothing

  • Cancellation must be made as soon as there is a reason why you cannot attend the tour. For cancellations made between the booking date and 68 days prior to the scheduled tour, the 25% booking fee is non-refundable. For cancellations made between 67 and 38 days prior to the scheduled tour, 50% of the total price is due. For cancellations made between 37 and 22 days prior to the scheduled tour, 75% of the total price is due. For cancellations made 21 days or less prior to the scheduled tour, 100% of the total price is due. If we have to cancel the tour for any reason, a full refund will be issued. You are responsible for ensuring you have travel, health, and cancellation insurance. Please check with your health insurance provider. All cancellations must be made via email.
