PRIVATE “SIT ON A SLED” RIDE NEAR KIRUNA

Experience a sled ride, seated on a sled driven by your guide, Stephanie. Husky Voice is a one-person company, so there will be some time dedicated to preparing the dogs, during which you can meet the dogs and learn about their personality.

The first half of the journey will last approximately 30 min, through a serene forest and some open areas. We will stop at a cozy hut on a frozen lake to warm up by an open fire with a hot drink and some cookies. You’ll have the opportunity to cuddle the dogs and capture some memorable photos. We will make our way back with another 30 min ride.

Stephanie is French, but has lived in Sweden for almost 20 years. She started her own dogsledding company in 2011, always prioritizing the well-being of her dogs, who are part of her family. She is passionate about her dogs and shares her passion with her guests.

    • No special physical fitness but normal full mobility is required to be able to sit comfortably on the sled. 

    • If you have some physical issues, such as hips, knees, back issues, please discuss with the booking agent.

    • Suitable for children from 3 years old

    • Not suitable for pregnant women

This provider ensures that all dogs are covered by health insurance and tailors work schedules to each dog's age and individual needs. Younger dogs join the guide team once they are yearlings, allowing them to develop at an appropriate pace.

    Really interesting insights from stephanie and many cuddles with the joyful and friendly dogs.
    As stephanie is a one-woman show, she only takes 4 People max. For us, a big plus as we had all the cuddly dogs for us :).

  • I have been wanting to go dog sledding for such a long time and I’m so glad to have found this company to do it with! I am a plus size woman and was worried if it would be ok for me to do, after communicating with Stephanie, she put my worries to rest and I could just focus on the excitement of experiencing this! Love that this is a smaller company where all the dogs get a lot of care and attention. It was so fun to get to meet each dog and learn a bit about their personalities. We really enjoyed and even spotted some reindeer along our adventure!
