This provider places special emphasis on maintaining a balanced age structure within the pack. This ensures that all dogs entering retirement can spend the rest of their life on the farm and remain part of the community until the very end. The small group size allows for individual care. In addition, all male dogs are neutered to prevent unplanned litters. Also noteworthy are the two scheduled rest days each week, giving the dogs time to recover and recuperate.

I just spent Christmas 2024 with them, a wonderful experience!

If for you, adventure means an hour's ride, a few selfies, and returning to comfort, then this probably isn't for you! On the other hand, if you dream of feeling like a great explorer, in harmony with nature and your dog team, then add it to your bucket list! Being dogsledded, working hard in a magnificent, open landscape, under the snow, is undoubtedly one of the most peaceful experiences of my life.

Driving the sled (especially a traditional one) requires a certain skill and can be great fun to share with your passenger. The dogs are simply extraordinary! They are very excited when you harness them, but as soon as you let them go, they focus and run for miles, silent and peaceful, like a little steam train propelling you through the snow. Despite their power, these dogs have excellent temperaments and greatly appreciate attention and affection. Even if you feel like a great explorer, you're in no real danger, because the Pirate Husky team is highly competent and professional and will ensure your safety. They took excellent care of us during our three-day expedition.

Become a great adventurer and join the Pirate Huskies to explore wild and unspoiled nature!

We spent four days with the Pirate Husky team with our two children, ages 8 and 11.

It's definitely the best memory we'll keep from our Lapland road trip. How can I sum it up in a single comment? Adorable dogs, breathtaking landscapes, and above all, wonderful people who truly want you to have the best time! Emilie, our French guide, was lovely with the children. An unforgettable adventure as a musher.

Contact them directly, and if you have any questions, we'd be happy to chat.

    WE RECOMMEND IT 1000%!

Contact them directly or get in touch with us if you have questions, we will be happy to share more with you.

    DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Our experience with Pirate Husky was simply incredible! Breathtaking scenery, a stunning display of the Northern Lights, magnificent huskies, and a fantastic team provided all the unforgettable memories we hoped for, and so much more. I had high expectations before the trip, and they far exceeded them!

I want to extend a huge thank you to Goran, Emilie, and Mali from Pirate Husky, who were exceptional every step of the way. They made sure we were fully prepared (and coming from Australia, we were completely out of our element!) and were guides, teachers, cooks, advisors, and, most importantly, wonderful people throughout the entire trip. I was a little nervous before we left because we weren't very familiar with the area, but the Pirate Husky team made sure everything went smoothly, even when the temperatures dropped.

This is the kind of experience that would be perfect for a wide audience, whether it's a parent and their adult child (like us), couples, families, or groups of friends looking for an unforgettable memory.

Simply superb. A huge thank you!
