On this guided winter hike, participants explore the snow-covered forests around Dragnäs together with rescue huskies. Each participant walks with one of the dogs on a leash, making the hike a special experience for both humans and animals. The trail leads through forest paths, open clearings, and gentle hills. The pace is leisurely and suitable for all fitness levels. The small group size ensures a personal atmosphere. Snowshoes will be used when conditions permit. Lunch (soup) can be booked as an optional extra.

Basti, Jenny, and Ylvie live in Dragnäs with their 28 wonderful dogs, 2 adorable ponies, and a few happy chickens. Since 2017, they have been active in dog sledding and have developed their team of rescue and second-hand dogs because they believe in second chances and want to make a difference for the dogs who find their new homes with them. Their dogs are beloved family members, regardless of their abilities.

  • We learned a lot about the care and nature of huskies. All the huskies come from difficult backgrounds and have found a loving home here. We were even allowed to help with feeding them.
