The Family Sled Ride is a guided dog sled ride specifically designed for families with children aged 3 and up. The tour begins with a short introduction at the kennel, where guests meet the sled dogs and learn how a dog sled works. Then, the 45-minute ride takes you through snowy forests and open fields in Dragnäs. Guests sit in the family sled and are driven by the guide. Upon returning, there is time to pet the dogs, take photos, and ask any questions.
Basti, Jenny, and Ylvie live in Dragnäs with their 28 amazing dogs, 2 adorable ponies, and a few happy chickens. They have been active in dog sledding since 2017 and have developed their team with rescue and second-hand dogs because they believe in second chances and want to make a difference for the dogs that find their new homes with them. Their dogs are beloved family members, regardless of their abilities.
